The work:
As a mid-level SE, you can expect to support the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of database systems, work with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate those needs into technical requirements and design/implement database solutions that meet technical requirements. You'll also optimize database performance, ensure data security and troubleshooting database problems. Customer may require database engineering on-call support; inconvenience pay will be provided for any on-call time.
What you'll need:
- BS and relevant Systems Engineering experience (SE1 BS+7-13; SE2 BS+ 15-19; SE3 BS+ 20+)
- Experience with Oracle, Linux, SQL, and scripting
- Experience with Oracle Data Guard, Jira, Confluence, and relational database design tools such as PowerDesigner) are nice to have.
Clearance requirement: TS/SCI w/FS Poly (must have CI poly within last 7 years) **REQUIRED** for consideration. No CCAs, sponsorships or upgrades.
Location: Worksite is in a contractor facility in Annapolis Junction, MD.
