The work, and what you'll do:
Play a pivotal role in safeguarding critical systems and enabling continuous delivery of security solutions. Join our client's team as a Cloud System Administrator and leverage your expertise to automate deployments, optimize performance, and ensure robust security in an AWS/Linux enviroment.
Responsibilities include:
- Automate deployments, quality control, and system maintenance.
-Proactively identify and resolve security vulnerabilities.
-Manage Windows systems, BigFix, and maintain Security Plans.
-Collaborate effectively using Jira and Confluence.
What you'll need:
- Security+ certification.
- System administration experience.
- AWS knowledge and cloud experience.
- Patch management and IAVA mitigation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Hadoop/Cloud system administration certifications are a plus.
- Experience with Ansible automation, Agile/Scrum, Kibana/Splunk, Risk Management Framework understanding and Linux system administration experience are a plus.
Clearance requirement: TS/SCI with FS Polygraph (no clearance upgrades or CCAs). Please note, you MUST have the required clearance for consideration.
Location/telework: Worksite is located in Potomac, MD. This is a hybrid remote position with 1-2 days/week WFH.
