The work, and what you'll do:
As a Software Engineer II specializing in Python development, you'll play a key role in revolutionizing how our organization manages and acquires business intelligence data. You'll work hand-in-hand with a team of experienced developers, data engineers, and system engineers to design and implement software solutions that automate current processes, boosting workforce efficiency and effectiveness.

Tech Stack:
- Programming Languages: Python (primary), experience with a JavaScript Framework (a plus)
- Operating Systems: Windows, Linux
- Development Tools: Jira, Confluence

Desired Skills:
- 6+ years of experience in software development/engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or 4+ years of additional experience can substitute).
- Experience collaborating effectively with customers and technical teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A passion for building well-documented, maintainable, and scalable code.
- Experience creating and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Experience setting up and managing Linux environments.
- Working knowledge of accessibility standards (ADA Section 508 compliance).
- A genuine willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Clearance requirement: TS/SCI with FS Polygraph (no clearance upgrades or CCAs). Please note, you MUST have the required clearance for consideration. 

Location/telework: Hybrid-remote with onsite locations in Annapolis Junction, MD.
