Our client is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned small business built on exploration and innovation.  They support several government clients and they utilize emerging technologies and innovative strategies to support their clients' long-term goals.  They are currently adding staff to an exciting program that sits at the intersection of Intelligence, Data Science, and Software Engineering.  The team has developed a capability to counter cyber threats and utilize large-scale mission data to impact our national security and improve our ability to meet the needs of the Warfighters.  Much of the infrastructure is in place and their team needs talented engineers to help drive the data engineering, analytics, and data science aspects of the project.

They are seeking a Data Engineer to join their team.

Relevant qualifications:
-Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar
-4+ years of experience
-Strong coding skills in Python
-Experience with the Linux command line

Preferred:
-Experience with PySpark
-Experience with Geospatial data
-Experience with Elasticsearch
-Experience with DevOps (Gitlab andAnsible)
-Experience with Neo4j or similar

This role is located in Springfield, VA and requires an Active TS/SCI Clearance and candidates with an Active CI Polygraph will be given preference.  Competitive benefits + strong salary, up to $225K for highly qualified candidates.
