Our client is an award-winning consulting firm and IT solutions provider that focuses on Analytics, Data Science, and Business Intelligence. They are headquartered in Washington, DC and support public sector health, civilian, and national security organizations. Most of their projects are mostly or entirely remote and ALL of their work is done outside of a SCIF. They have been recognized by Inc. The work, and what you'll do:
They are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Web Developer to join their growing team. This role will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including custom software development, systems integration, interface monitoring and maintenance, database design, future enhancements, and platform modernization.
What you'll need:
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in Windows Server Administration (Windows Server 2012 or higher), 1+ years of experience in IT Support (Tier I, II, or III)
Desired experience with:
- Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVMs), Active Directory (AD), Basic network configuration and troubleshooting
- PC and Server hardware replacement (familiarity with Linux server administration a plus) and ticketing systems, issue tracking, and collaboration tools
- Virtualization technologies like VMware vSphere, Containerization technologies (Docker) and container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes)
- Network monitoring and configuration capture tools, Centralized authentication services (AD or LDAP)
- IP network operations (network switching/routing, firewalls, subnet configuration)
- Familiarity with Tanzu administration and deploying/managing Tanzu Kubernetes Grid (TKG) clusters (desired)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure), Risk Management Framework (RMF), and SQL Server (2019) (a plus)
Clearance requirement: U.S. Citizenship and active Secret Clearance are mandatory. Please note, you MUST have the required clearance for consideration.
Location: Silver Spring, MD; salaries for qualified candidates can reach $115k.
