The Role
We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Software Developers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of critical software applications. You will work closely with a team of engineers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients.
What You'll Bring
14+ years of experience as a Software Engineer and technical BS
Proficiency in Python programming language.
Experience with Docker containers, PgAdmin for database management (specifically for migrating from PostgreSQL databases).
Experience with Poetry for Python dependency management and Makefiles.
Experience with AWS services, including a subset of the following:
- AWS Terraform as Infrastructure as Code (IoC) (highly desirable)
-AWS Lambda Functions utilizing Python 3.11 (highly desirable)
-AWS RDS Aurora PostgreSQL Database (PostgreSQL database)
-AWS SQS (Simple Queue Service)
-AWS SNS (Simple Notification Service)
-AWS API Gateway with Lambda Authorizer (highly desirable)
-AWS Step Functions (highly desirable)
-AWS DynamoDB as a user cache (highly desirable)
-AWS CloudWatch (highly desirable)
Nice to Haves:
Experience with Agile development methodologies.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Experience with DevOps practices.
Clearance Requirements
TS/SCI with FSP REQUIRED for consideration. SCI must be with our Ft. Meade customer. Please note, you MUST have the required clearance for consideration (uncleared or under-cleared applicants will not receive a response).
