The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Mid-Level Software Engineer to join our client's team in Maryland. This is a full-time, experienced-level position offering an exciting opportunity to support a U.S. Government customer and sustain critical mission-related software and systems. You will be immersed in challenging work with a supportive team of brilliant engineers, with opportunities for personalized training and growth. Base salaries range from $140k to $200k with full benefits and potential for a sign-on bonus.
What You'll Bring
10 years of experience plus a Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or related field) or 14 years of relevant experience without a degree.
Ability to work well independently as well as collaboratively within a team, with strong communication skills.
Required Key Skills:
Software Architecture, Design, and DevOps/System LCM
Telemetry & Data Flow Management (Implementation, Documentation, Analysis)
Linux/Bash Scripting & Python Proficiency
Experience with Cross-Team Metrics & System Performance
Leadership/Team Lead Experience
Strong Communication, Collaboration, & Organizational Skills
Full SDLC Support (Git/GitLab) & Teamwork Ability
Proactive Learning & Willingness to engage with IaC
Desired Skills:
Monitoring/Logging Tools (Splunk, Elastic, etc.)
Data Movement & Analysis
Clearance Requirements
U.S. Citizenship and an active or reinstatable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance is REQUIRED (no clearance upgrades or CCAs, uncleared or under-cleared applicants will not receive a response).
