The Role
We are seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to manage enterprise computer systems and networks for a critical mission. You will analyze technical issues, develop corrective actions, and translate user requests into technical diagnoses and solutions. This role involves migrating customers to new architectures with minimal impact and evaluating emerging technologies to enhance Agency standard solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
System Management: Actively monitor and manage the status of designated computer network infrastructure.
Architecture Migration: Develop and implement strategies to transition users to new technologies.
Security & Hardware: Support hardware installations (servers/storage) and implement security best practices, including PKI certificate maintenance.
What You'll Bring
Experience: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 5+ years of relevant experience in system/network administration or IT support.
Technical Skills: Strong Linux proficiency and knowledge of Unix shell scripting (Bash, Bourne, or C).
Hardware/Storage: Hands-on experience with server installation and setting up Network-Attached Storage (NAS).
Bonus Skills: Familiarity with AWS, Docker, RedHat Satellite, Nginx, SELinux/FIPS, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, SALT, Ansible).
Please note: An active IAM Tier 1 certification (Security+, etc) is required by the customer for consideration.
Clearance Requirements
TS/SCI with FS Polygraph is required. We are not able to upgrade clearances or accept CCAs. Please note, you must have the required clearance for consideration; under-cleared applicants will not receive a response.
