The Role
Our client is seeking a Principal Cloud Engineer to design, build, and manage secure cloud environments for high-impact missions. You will lead the architecture, development, and implementation of cloud-based solutions supporting mission-critical operations for USCYBERCOM and Intelligence Community partners. The role involves working directly with stakeholders to design scalable environments, integrate advanced data systems, and apply expertise with technologies like AWS, Azure, and ELK. You will also provide leadership and mentorship to engineering teams, ensuring best practices for security and resilience.
What You'll Bring
A Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 18+ years of relevant experience.
Experience supporting USCYBERCOM or Intelligence Community partners in operational or technical cloud initiatives.
Strong technical knowledge of AWS Cloud, Azure, and ELK and other enterprise data platforms.
Experience building business intelligence solutions with tools like Tableau or Power BI.
Expertise in designing hybrid and multi-cloud architectures that meet strict security standards.
Strong ability to translate mission needs into data-driven, cloud-native solutions.
Excellent communication skills and experience leading cross-functional technical teams.
Clearance Requirements
TS/SCI with FS Polygraph is required. We are not able to upgrade clearances or accept CCAs. Please note, you must have the required clearance for consideration; under-cleared applicants will not receive a response.
