The Role
Our client is seeking a Principal HPC Software Engineer to provide technical expertise in sustaining critical mission-related software and systems. The role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining complex and diverse software for High Performance Computing (HPC) systems. This includes working with processing-intensive analytics, extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and data repositories. You will also provide input on system design, including hardware/software trade-offs and requirements analysis.
What You'll Bring
A Bachelor's Degree in Math, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline with 7 years of experience as an HPC Software Engineer (HSE).
A very strong background in either mathematics or computer hardware is required.
Working knowledge of Configuration Management (CM) tools and Web Services implementation.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Clearance Requirements
TS/SCI with FS Polygraph is required. We are not able to upgrade clearances or accept CCAs. Please note, you must have the required clearance for consideration; under-cleared applicants will not receive a response.
