The Role
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced DevOps Engineer to join a fast-paced development team. The ideal candidate will have strong working knowledge in Linux systems administration, and a background in Big Data solutions, configuration management, automation, scripting, and AWS. This role is responsible for implementing infrastructure, automating deployment processes, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our services. You will also manage and maintain Kubernetes containers, and collaborate with development teams to integrate their applications into the infrastructure.

What You'll Bring
5+ years of experience in DevOps Engineering with a Bachelor's degree, 3+ years with a Master's degree or 9+ years with a High School Diploma or equivalent
Strong knowledge of Linux systems
Proficiency in configuration management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet
Knowledge of AWS services (EC2, EBS, S3, Lambda)
Ability to develop in multiple programming languages such as Python, Bash, or Go
Familiarity with Git
Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, PostgreSQL, or ElasticSearch 
Experience with containers (EKS), Diode, and CI/CD

Active DoD 8140/8570 certification (Security+, etc) is required for consideration. 

Clearance Requirements
An active Secret clearance is required for consideration. Client cannot hold higher clearances (including polygraphs) and we are not able to upgrade clearances. Please note, you must have the required clearance for consideration; under-cleared applicants will not receive a response.

Location
Columbia, MD (Hybrid, requiring 1-2 days per week onsite)
