The work:
As a DevOps Engineer, you'll be the backbone of critical government software, designing, deploying, and streamlining its delivery with secure automation. Analyze and improve the system, bridge communication gaps, and lend support when needed – all while ensuring everyone's on the same page for mission success.
What you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 10+ years' experience in DevOps or a related field.
- Strong Linux, Git, scripting, and automation skills.
- Experience with cloud, containers, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
Bonus points:
- Experience with Windows system administration, security practices, and networking protocols.
- Experience with MySQL, Elasticsearch, Kibana, and caching technologies.
- Programming skills in Ruby, C, C++, GO, Python, or Java.
Clearance requirement: TS/SCI with FS Polygraph (no clearance upgrades or CCAs). Please note, you MUST have the required clearance for consideration.
Location/telework: This is a PARTIAL TELEWORK position with onsite work location in the Columbia, MD area.
