They have several openings for Cloud Software Engineers on a newly-won, long-term contract. You can expect to create, test, and maintain the various analytics running in Pig and/or PySpark to create various reports for users, capture and normalize raw data from data feeds and provide rapid response to customer needs and requirements, ensuring that day to day operations are successful.
Qualifications: BS + 6 (six) years of relevant experience
Required: Experience designing and developing automated analytic software, techniques, and algorithms. Experience developing and deploying: data driven analytics; event driven analytics; set of analytics orchestrated through rules engine. Experience documenting data models, schemas, data element dictionaries, and other technical specifications.
Desired: Python, Java, Scala, Apache NiFi, Ansible, Agile Experience, Experience deploying applications in a cloud environment, MongoDB
This contract is a combination of new product development and consolidation of several groundbreaking legacy analytic programs. It has excellent rates - salaries for advanced Engineers can reach 200K+. This is a high-profile program with an excellent prime, attentive technical leaders and a responsive customer.
Positions have 1-2 remote days per week with onsite locations in Linthicum Heights. US Citizenship and active TS/SCI+FS Poly are required for consideration.
