Cloud Design Engineers - PRIME CONTRACT! - FS Poly

They are seeking skilled Java/Cloud Software engineers at varying levels to join the team on their brand new, prime vehicle. This is a golden opportunity for FS Poly cleared engineers looking to make a move in MD - no customer interview is needed here, which makes for a faster turnaround and onboarding. Compensation packages have been VERY strong and we've seen sign-on and retention bonuses as well. They are looking for Cloud Design Engineers on a newly-awarded, 5+ year PRIME contract. This is a GREAT opportunity to get in at the ground floor and contribute your talents on an important, long-term mission. 

They are looking for folks with experience in some the following areas:
- BS+ 8 years software engineering (4 years experience may be substituted for BS degree)
- 2 years with Big-Data Cloud technologies and/or Distributed Computing (Cloudera Certified Hadoop Developer cert may be substituted for 1 year of Cloud experience)

+ Cloud and/or Distributed Computing Information Retrieval (IR), Cloud Big Table/ Distributed File Systems; HDFS, HBASE, Apache Lucene, Apache Solr, MongoDB
+ Programming with any of the following: Java, Eclipse, MAVEN, RESTful web services, Spring MVC, J2EE, HDFS, HBase, JMS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP/Servlets, Groovy, etc.
+ Computer Network Operations, Information assurance and Virtualization (VMWare or VirtualBox)
+ Experience in SIGINT collection/analysis, collection platforms, and dataflow architectures
+ Experience with CentOS, Linux/RedHat and configuration management tools such as Subversion, ClearQuest, or Razor

US citizenship and an active TS/SCI+FS Poly are required. Worksites are in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. Telework is not currently supported.
