Our client is an analytics product firm that specializes in developing AI-based geospatial analytics platforms. They apply machine learning and computer vision to geospatial data to see detail that is indistinguishable to the human eye. In essence, our client builds software that interprets data at petabyte scale and enables businesses, governments, and NGOs to make better business and policy decisions. They are rapidly growing and are looking to significantly increase their workforce in 2022!

For cleared folks, this is a great opportunity to keep your clearance (TS to CI Poly) active while having the flexibility of almost 100% remote work. Positions are not tied to a contract and you'll be able to explore new technologies and projects without waiting for customer approval! Literally the best of both worlds! Not cleared? No worries - clearance is NOT required for this work at all - if you have sharp skills and a desire to build something new that can change the world, we want to talk to you!

You'll work with talented engineers and computer vision/data scientists to explore, build and maintain production pipelines that process and explore massive amounts of geospatial data in critical environments. The work is cutting-edge and super exciting for folks that love working with large amounts of data and emerging technologies. You can expect a lot of cross-team collaboration, supportive colleagues, and flexibility with roles that operate 100% remote (or hybrid remote if you'd like!).

They are looking for engineers with exposure or experience in the following: 
- 6+ years of Back-end or full-stack programming experience, Python preferred
- Experience working on large scale data sets, microservices and production systems
- Experience with cloud-based systems using AWS/Azure and Docker
- Experience with geospatial data, C2S/SIPR-net, PostGIS, Kubernetes and Cassandra are a major plus

Compensation includes a strong base salary, an annual performance bonus incentive (10-15%), and very generous stock options (up to 50k!) that could be extremely valuable over time. The company pays 100% of medical/dental/vision for employees (almost 100% for dependents), has flexible leave, WFH bonuses, and more.

Work locations are REMOTE, work-from-home, with occasional onsite visits in the DC metro area (1-2x per quarter, max). Hybrid-remote will continue past COVID. All roles require US citizenship. Clearances up to TS/SCI + CI Poly can be held.
