They are seeking talented Linux Systems Administrators to join their talented team of engineers, IT specialists and developers to support some of the most important missions in the DoD. You can expect to provide in-depth, technical expertise to a variety of organizations with responsibilities ranging from Linux system administration, server-side operations, secure system monitoring and developing/deploying system enhancements. You'll be surrounded by leaders in the field and have the opportunity to collaborate with fellow SAs, Developers and leadership to build and maintain next-level systems.
For consideration, you'll need:
- BS and 5+ years experience as an SA or SE in similar roles
- Extensive experience with Linux/UNIX systems, servers or architecture
- Knowledge of networking/distributed computing systems and Oracle databases
- Perl/Shell scripting experience
- CompTIA certification; Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) is a huge plus!
US Citizenship and an active TS/SCI+FS Poly are required. Worksite is in a contractor space in Annapolis Junction, MD with flexible schedules and potential telework.
