Our client is the sole prime on a multi-decade program that works on exciting and challenging Signal Processing problems that are very important to Intelligence Community missions. You'll find work that involves detection and processing of LTE / 4G / 5G signals, modulation / demodulation algorithms, quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM), low signal-to-noise situations, estimation problems, phase shifts, time synchronization algorithms, frequency and phase corrections, forward error correcting, machine learning, and more. The program is entirely software focused - no hardware / FPGA work. This program has continual needs for DSP / SIGINT Engineers, who do everything from algorithm design to production implementation: design modulation / demodulation and other DSP algorithms, create proofs-of-concept in Matlab, implement algorithms in code (typically C++, C, or Python), get that code running correctly a single server, and then get that code running correctly on large clusters (100+ servers). Salaries are on-par with the market, but the total compensation is out of this world: in addition to a massive 401(k) contribution, they provide a large fund that can be used for various benefits with the remainder taken as additional cash.
While this work typically requires a Top Secret or higher federal security clearance, our client has a limited number of spots for highly-skilled US citizens to join this program prior to obtaining a clearance. To be considered, you must meet all of the following criteria:
- MS degree in Electrical Engineering
- at least 7 years of professional experience
- DSP Algorithm development experience
- experience implementing DSP algorithms in code using C, C++, or Python
- US citizenship
- a willingness to undergo a security clearance process
- local to Fairfax, VA or Aurora, CO
