They are seeking Sr. System Engineers with DevOps experience for positions on several of their PRIME contracts. For consideration, you will need:
YOE requirements: BS+ Fifteen (15) years of experience
Required skills:
- Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying them to developers with a positive, problem-solving attitude
- Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes; Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results
- Identifying technical problems and working with development teams on documentation and process to develop software updates and fixes
- Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
- Experience as a DevOps engineer or in a similar software engineering role
- Proficiency with Git and GitHub workflows; Good knowledge of Ruby or Python and working knowledge of databases and SQL
Desired skills:
- Develop and deliver a work product in any of the ISO/IEC 15288 Process Areas.
- Perform analysis of technical alternatives for a project and make preliminary recommendations.
- Assist in performing systems engineering activities in the ISO/IEC 15288 Agreement or Enterprise Process Areas.
- Assist in developing a new or innovative approach to a technical or engineering issue and evaluation to determine its suitability for project implementation.
- Analyze and propose appropriate engineering standards and processes for a project and lead contractor systems engineering activities for a project.
- Approve delivery of work products of multiple Processes Areas defined in the ISO/IEC 15288 and independently make decisions regarding engineering issues
- Brief stakeholders and present the status on all technical aspects of their project.
Security clearance: US Citizenship and an active TS/SCI+FS Poly are required for consideration (no CCAs or CI Poly clearances, unfortunately!)
Telework/Onsite locations: Telework is mission dependent; Work performed in contractor facility in Annapolis Junction.
All onsite roles are located in MD and require US Citizenship and active TS/SCI+FS Poly for consideration.
